The Ultimate Kids’ Christmas Edit

7 minute read

“Unless we make Christmas an occasion to share our blessings, all the snow in Alaska won’t make it white.” – Bing Crosby

If ever there was a reason to dress up and spread the joy, this is it. For most of us, social distancing and quarantine took the lightness and laughter out of Christmas. Now, post-pandemic, we have a new appreciation for friends, family, freedom, and time-honoured tradition. We’re taking nothing for granted and our desire for luxury, indulgence, ornamentation and celebration has never been greater. This Christmas promises to put all the glam and glitter back into the holiday season. Welcome to the New Noel.

Between festive season soirees, yuletide dinners and New Year parties, our carefully curated Christmas edit arrives just in time. You will find echoes of all the key decorative trends for Christmas ‘22: Maximalist patterns with dramatic blooms and opulent Botanics; pared down Scandi-chic with metallic accents (this season even ‘less’ has ‘more’); traditional colour combinations of vibrant red and verdant green; a nod to Regency-core with rich textures and velvet luxe; and all the romance of an old-fashioned winter fayre with its frosted colour palette and high shine glitter.

There’s something pretty, something elegant, something quirky, something classic, something cool. You’ll find heirloom-quality, fabulous frocks, versatile velvet, timeless tartan, sparkling party shoes, metallic bags, and big satin bows to wrap it all up.

So, pour yourself a glass of gluhwein, turn on the Christmas carols and get ready to be inspired...
