Summer holidays are coming and for many kids, this is the most exciting time of the year. it's a time of anticipation, excitement, adventure and more. But for parents, the summer holidays require planning and organisation. Everyone loves being on holiday but the reality is that many dislike the Airport. With children, this can be even more tiring and quickly become something you want to forget. But there are simple survival strategies to get through the airport with ease.
Some tips for making travelling a little bit easier:
- Make sure to pack enough snacks
- Let them pack a small cabin bag with a few toys and a colouring book.
- Plan ahead - have everything packed and ready to go with a written list of what last-minute things need to be done prior to leaving.
- Bring only what is necessary - my family used to have a rule that anything we bring has to fit in our backpack and it can't be too heavy for us to carry.
